BD Difco 發酵培養基型錄 (BD Bionutrients™ Technical Manual)整理了市面上絕大多數應用於微生物發酵與細胞培養使用的營養培養基原料，BD Difco依據其營養成分來源與製程的不同，將發酵培養基分為:
1. Animal free Peptones and Yeast extracts
2. Meat peptones
3. Casein and Whey Peptones
4. CellTM MAb Medium (Monoclonal Antibody)
5. Chemically Defined Media
第一類產品線包括了常用的酵母抽出物(Yeast extract, Yestolate)、大豆水解產品(Soytone)、植物性蛋白來源(Malt extract, Phytone)等。
第二類產品線包括了常用的肉類蛋白質水解物，如Peptone, Beef extract, Polypeptone及Tryptose等。
第三類產品線包括了奶類蛋白，如Tryptone, Casamino acid與Casitone等。
第四類產品線為特別設計於提高單株抗體生產產量用的MAb培養基。
第五類產品線則是常被應用於酵母菌基因研究(yeast hybridization)的知名Difco YNB (Yeast Nitrogen Base)。

Largest media manufacturing plant in the world: In 1999, as part of the Difco Laboratories acquisition, BD opened a manufacturing plant in Sparks, Maryland, which is our Center of Manufacturing Excellence. 3.
